For the second, and unexpectedly our last, day of the Toronto Women's Fashion Week, we opted for darker tones. Much like the choice of pink for day 1, this was not planned. It just so happened to be that we were in sync. Or perhaps, we were just in the same mood, because sometimes you tend to dress according to your mood.
Akin wore a black denim jacket with shearling collar, turtleneck sweater, pair of black jeans and sneakers with paint splashes. He had a plain black fedora to top it off.
I, on the other hand, wore a black dress designed by the ever-talented Diseiye. The dress, which is a part of his collection, had a high-low feature that I absolutely loved, and a tulle underneath that gave the right amount of puff. I styled this with my black court shoes (at this point, I should probably name them since they've made one too many appearances), and a mini floral bag to add some pattern. I wore my everyday accessories because I felt that the dress had already made all the statement.
The day itself had an unexpected turnout and if we thought the first day was bad for pictures, this day was much worse! But, again, we were able to manage a few decent shots to showcase the ensembles we chose for the day!
